Mint Infused Simple Syrup

Sugar 
Sugar and water
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 handful mint

Boiling sugar and water
Steeping mint

About this much mint




Mint infused simple syrup
Almost finished
Pour sugar and water into small pan. Bring to boil and dissolve sugar. Remove from heat and add mint, stems and all. Press down with spoon to help submerge. Allow to cool. Strain out mint and store in lidded jar in fridge. Use for mixed drinks or lemonade.
